The rules for using DyslexiHub, in plain language.

DyslexiHub is a reading-support app for students, families, and educators. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. When you sign up, you confirm this by ticking the agreement box.

We wrote them in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

DyslexiHub is a reading-support and study tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent dyslexia or any other condition, disability, or learning difference.

Nothing in DyslexiHub is medical, clinical, psychological, educational, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified specialist, teacher, or healthcare professional. For evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment, please talk to a licensed professional.

Progress numbers, streaks, and scores in the app are there to encourage practice. They are not an assessment of a reading disability or of anyone's ability.

You need an account to save documents, join classrooms, and track reading progress. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

• Give accurate information when you sign up.
• Students in a school setting should use DyslexiHub with the knowledge of their teacher, school, or parent/guardian.
• Sign-up asks for your date of birth. If you are under 13, you cannot create your own account — a parent, guardian, or school sets up DyslexiHub with you instead.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

DyslexiHub has a free plan and paid plans. The price of a paid plan, and what it includes, are shown before you subscribe — those details are part of these terms.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. DyslexiHub never sees or stores your card number.
• Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from your account's billing portal. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
• AI features (like summaries and premium voices) come with usage credits that depend on your plan. Credits reset on your plan's schedule and don't carry over unless the plan says so.
• If a payment fails or a subscription ends, your account moves back to the free plan — your documents and progress are not deleted.

You own the documents and text you bring to DyslexiHub. By uploading, you give us permission to store and process that content — only so the app can do what you ask, like displaying pages, generating audio, or creating summaries.

Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't upload other people's private information.

Everything that makes DyslexiHub itself — the app's code, design, name, logo, and features — belongs to DyslexiHub. Using the app doesn't give you a license to copy or resell any of it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them to improve DyslexiHub without owing you anything. (We still appreciate them a lot.)

Users bring their own documents to DyslexiHub, and they are responsible for having the right to use them. If you believe content stored on DyslexiHub infringes your copyright, email se88543@gmail.com and we will act quickly — we promptly remove or disable access to the identified content and, where appropriate, notify the person who uploaded it.

A complete copyright notice includes:

• Your name and contact info.
• Which work of yours was copied.
• Where that content is on DyslexiHub.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Removed by mistake? Send a counter-notice with: your name and contact info, what was removed and where it appeared, a statement — under penalty of perjury — that you believe in good faith it was a mistake or misidentification, your consent to the jurisdiction of your local U.S. federal court, and your signature.
• We share valid counter-notices with the person who complained, and may restore the content if they don't take it to court.
• Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright may be suspended or closed.

Summaries, simplified text, and AI voices are generated by artificial intelligence. They are reading aids, not a replacement for the original text, a teacher, or professional advice.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Always check the original text when accuracy matters — for example on homework, tests, or anything important.

Classrooms let teachers share assignments and see student reading progress. Our Privacy page explains exactly what teachers can see.

• Teachers: only add students you actually teach, and use student progress data for education, not anything else.
• Teachers can turn on reading-time tracking per classroom. When it is on, students see a notice on their assignments — use it openly, not as a surprise.
• Students: only join classrooms you belong to, and keep join codes private.
• Students can leave a classroom at any time.

• Don't break the law or use DyslexiHub to harm, harass, or deceive anyone.
• Don't try to break into accounts, classrooms, or data that aren't yours.
• Don't abuse the AI features — for example with scripts or bots that drain credits or overload the service.
• Don't copy, resell, or rebrand DyslexiHub as your own service.
• We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we do, we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

You can stop using DyslexiHub at any time. To delete your account and its data, open your Account page and use the delete-account option — it removes your documents, classroom records, and reading history right away. You can also email us and we will do it for you.

We work hard to keep DyslexiHub reliable, but we're a small product and can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or perfect. DyslexiHub is provided “as is.”

To the extent the law allows, DyslexiHub is not liable for indirect damages — like lost work or lost time — caused by using or being unable to use the service. If a court finds us liable anyway, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used DyslexiHub or the content you uploaded, you agree to be responsible for that claim to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms removes rights that your local law says you always have.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, in the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

If you ever have a problem, email us first — most issues can be sorted out quickly and informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved that way, it will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you agree to that location, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.

• Nothing here takes away consumer-protection rights that the law where you live guarantees you.
• If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

If you use DyslexiHub through the Apple App Store, these extra terms also apply, and this page serves as the app's End User License Agreement (EULA).

• This agreement is between you and DyslexiHub only — not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Your license to use the app is a personal, non-transferable license to use it on any Apple device you own or control, under Apple's App Store Usage Rules.
• DyslexiHub — not Apple — is solely responsible for the app, its support and maintenance, any warranties, and any claims about it (including product-liability, legal, or that the app infringes someone's rights).
• If the app does not work as promised, you can tell Apple, and Apple may refund any purchase price you paid; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app.
• You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. embargo and are not on a U.S. prohibited-parties list, and you will follow any third-party terms that apply when using the app.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them.

If we make meaningful changes to these terms, we will update this page and its date. If a change matters for paid plans or student data, we will do our best to tell you directly — for example by email or a notice in the app. Continuing to use DyslexiHub after a change means you accept the updated terms.
